Dix began work in comics for Fleetway when he was a student. He was co-founder of the cult magazine Purr in the 1990's "a gun to the head in print". He co-created KLAXON, a graphic novel, with author Si Spencer and published by Selfmadehero. His most recent graphic novel, DULL MARGARET, is a collaboration with Jim Broadbent published by Fantagraphics.
Dix worked for The Guardian newspaper for several years, writing and drawing comic strips, political cartoons and creating covers and illustrations.
Dix's dark sense of humour often leaks into his illustration work. You'll find an unsavoury selection here.
Dix paints until daybreak to create canvases for your viewing pleasure.
